Milwaukee Admirals announced today that country music star Dierks Bentley will perform live in a post-game concert after the Admirals game against the Rockford IceHogs on Friday, Jan. 24 .
The concert is the the team's annual FM106/Coors Light Country Music Night, and a return gig for Bentley who played the BMO Harris Bradley Center ice in 2012.
I've seen Bentley twice and he's great live. Add the fact that he's a huge hockey fan and loyal Nashville Predators (the Admirals NHL team) fans and his show gets even better.
The concert is free to attend with a game ticket and there will be a limited number of on-ice passes, which allow exclusive access for the concert directly in front of the stage, put on sale at a later date.
A dedicated fan of the Nashville Predators, Bentley played to a sold-out Bradley Center after an Ads game on Jan. 27, 2012.
Bentley is set to release his eighth album later this year. Its debut single, "Bourbon in Kentucky," is already out.
The Dierks Bentley concert is the second announced show for the Admirals Concert Series. Classic rock legends Cheap Trick will perform live following the Feb. 21 game.
