It’s been a week or so since our last major snowfall, but sadly some sidewalks in Downtown Milwaukee (and in other parts of the city) remain snow filled, icy and potentially dangerous.

It takes a village, people.  So, this is my small way of reminding (guess you could also call it shaming) all property owners in Downtown that your delinquency and neglect harms the entire area.

Sure your building may be vacant, but not removing snow and ice in front of it hurts potential development (people don’t like areas with neglect), harms the walkability of the Downtown neighborhood and just looks like crap.  Plus, it’s rude.

Own a building in Downtown?  Shovel your sidewalks.  Thank you.
