One of the main questions around town today was "how many people do you think will show up for the Gokey thing?"  I guessed 20,000 at the Summerfest show alone, but wouldn't have been surprised if it was double that.

Summerfest offiicals report the number at the concert at around 25,000.  Gokey cranked though several songs after introductions and accolades from the Mayor, County Executive, the MSO's Marvin Hamlisch, Rick Springfield, Don Smiley from Summerfest and others.

Before the mini concert at Summerfest's Harley-Davidson Roadhouse,  an overflow crowd filled the Riverwalk as Gokey posed for photos and signed a few autographs at the site of the Bronze Fonz.

Gokey finished his whirlwind day at Miller Park.
