Neil Diamond closes Summerfest on Sunday but had some extra time in Milwaukee on Saturday.

If you follow the singer on Twitter you'll know that he used some of his free time to stop at Leon's, 3131 S. 27th St., for a dish of its famous Milwaukee custard.

The 71 year-old tweeted, "No visit to Milwaukee is complete without a visit to Leon's. Next stop... Summerfest!"   He also posted a photo of himself that I've shared above.  Click on it to expand it to full view.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer takes the Marcus Amphitheater stage at 7:30 Sunday.
