Chances are if you haven't been to Green Bay in a while, you'd think it was all Packers all the time. Well, that's still pretty true. Title Town bleeds green and gold, so it sometimes takes a true outsider to go beyond the team and into touristville. Â
The New York Times did just this in its latest "36 Hours" piece that's now up on nytimes.com. For you paper people, I'm sure it will run in print on Sunday. Written by Robert Simonson, who also wrote the most recent "36 Hours" piece on Milwaukee, "36 Hours in Green Bay, Wis" takes the reader to Union Hotel, the Neville Public Museum, Beerntsen’s Candies, Al’s Hamburger Shop, Bay Beach and, of course, Lambeau Field.
Read the entire piece here, and get to Green Bay now for Packers training camp action.
