You can’t help but think McDonald’s when you see Monopoly today, but Milwaukee-based grocer Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc. is in the game now too with its new Monopoly promotion.

I was at the Downtown Milwaukee Metro Market this weekend and got a game piece with my purchase.  You don’t have to buy something to play, though.  The game is on through August 31 at all Pick ’n Save, Copps, Rainbow and Metro Market stores in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

It’s easy to play, and the company is giving away $2.8 million in cash, prizes and coupons.  Official rules are here.
