"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is all primed to have the highest grossing opening weekend in film history. Some seeing the blockbuster on opening night at the Avalon Theater, however, will not be contributing to the movie's assumably galactic-sized sum.

The Avalon announced on Twitter today that, in honor of the one-year anniversary of the theater's reopening, the first 200 guests that arrive for the 7 p.m. 3-D showing of "The Force Awakens" on Thursday, Dec. 17 will get their ticket for free.

That's right, all you folks who didn't pre-order your tickets yet: You can still not only see "Star Wars" on opening night, but for zero dollars. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. that Thursday, so if you want "Star Wars" on the house, be sure to hurry over there and, more than likely, wait in line.

It'll probably be cold, but it will hopefully be worth it for "Star Wars" and savings – savings that you can use to buy a ticket to see "The Force Awakens" again. And again. And again. And probably a few more times.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
