Get in touch with your Ol' Kentucky Home Saturday during the fourth annual Derby Day party at Maxie's Southern Comfort, 6732 W. Fairview Ave.

In addition to 12 televisions to watch the 137th "Run for the Roses," there will be live music from Carrie Melton and the Minor Fall, a special Kentucky-inspired menu and raffle "bets" on the races.

Prizes include a catered meal for 20 from Maxie's, hotel getaways, Brewers tickets and gift cards to some of the best restaurants in town. There will also be a contest for best ladies' hat and the best-dressed male.

Sous Chef Kimberly Pollman traveled to Kentucky this spring in search of authentic dishes and creative interpretations in preparation for the party, which raises money for the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee.

Tickets are $16, including a free t-shirt and your first "bet" or just $7 without the shirt. Doors open at 1 p.m. and the race begins at 5:24 p.m.
