In order to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Admirals are staging a "Hunt for Pink October."

The highlight of the event will be an appearance by Deanna Favre, a breast cancer survivor and the wife of Packers quarterback Brett Favre.

Deanna Favre will visit the Bradley Center Oct. 24, when the Admirals take on the Quad City Flames. From 6 to 7 p.m., Favre will be signing her new book "Don't Bet Against Me," which is raising money for the Deanna Favre HOPE Foundation, which provides assistance to women who are underserved or underinsured in their battle against breast cancer.

Deanna Favre, who was an honorary captain for the Packers game against the Bears Sunday night at Lambeau Field, will also do signings at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 at Harry W. Schwartz Bookshop, 17145 W. Bluemound Rd., Brookfield; Favre also will sign books at 3 p.m. Oct. 24 at Barnes & Noble's Mayfair Mall location, 2500 N. Mayfair Rd.
