Milwaukee, make sure you circle Friday, April 6 on your calendars.

That's the date for Brewers Opening Day 2012, according to the season schedule, released Wednesday by the team.

The 162-game slate includes interleague contests against the American League Central, which the Brewers called home from 1994 to 1997. In addition to the annual home-and-home series with the Minnesota Twins, the Brewers will travel to Chicago for a three-game set against the White Sox June 5-7 and Kansas City June 12-14 to face the Royals. Milwaukee will also host Toronto, from the American League East, June 18-20.

The team will have two nine-game homestands next seson, hosting the Dodgers, Rockies and Astros April 17-25 and Pittsburgh, the Cubs and Padres June 1-10.

The two longest road trips are 10 games, visiting Pittsburgh, Washington and Cincinnati Sept.18-27 and nine games, with stops in St. Louis, San Diego and San Francisco, April 27-May 6.

In holiday action, the Brewers are home Easter Sunday (April 8), Mothers Day (May 13) and the Fourth of July, against the Miami Marlins.

As has been the case in years past, home games will begin at 7:10 p.m. (Monday-Friday night games), 6:10 p.m. (Saturday games), 12:10 p.m. (weekday day games in April and May) and 1:10 p.m. (Sundays and weekday home games from June through September).
