My work bag is a cluttered mess of cables and adapters. And that clutter, once I get to the office, usually makes its way to my desktop when I set up shop each day.

The Griffin Simplifi helps ease the clutter, at least on my desk.

Built around a iPhone/iPod charger and sync cradle, the Simplfi includes a pair of powered USB 2.0 ports and card readers that accept Compact Flash, SD, Memory Stick and Micro SD.

In the box, you'll find the unit itself -- which, with a brushed aluminum exterior provides a sharp complement to the current line of MacBooks or iMacs (though it is fully compatible with a Windows-based PC) -- a USB cable and power adapter.

Originally, I thought this might be a good addition to the bag, but it's just a bit too big and the power adapter makes using it as a portable device possible, but a little impractical.

Instead, this little number is sitting on my desk, saving me plenty of time digging through my bag to find my iPhone cable or card reader.

You can pick up the Simplifi from the Griffin Web site for around $70 but you might be able to find it cheaper at sites like Amazon or New Egg.
