Actor/director Ben Affleck's found his calling behind the camera, it seems, with critical acclaim for "Gone Baby Gone" and "The Town." His latest, "Argo," chronicles a covert operation to rescue six Americans behind the scenes of the Iran hostage crisis.

It's already picked up rave reviews, but you don't have to take critics' words for it. You can see it for yourself this Monday.

OnMilwaukee.com has limited passes to a special screening of the film Monday, Oct. 8 at AMC Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa. Tickets are first come, first served, and up to two can be downloaded per person.

The screening starts at 7 p.m., but get there early – seats are limited, too.

Download passes here.

Renee Lorenz Special to OnMilwaukee.com

Contrary to her natural state of being, Renee Lorenz is a total optimist when it comes to Milwaukee. Since beginning her career with OnMilwaukee.com, her occasional forays into the awesomeness that is the Brew City have turned into an overwhelming desire to discover anything and everything that's new, fun or just ... "different."

Expect her random musings to cover both the new and "new-to-her" aspects of Miltown goings-on, in addition to periodically straying completely off-topic, which usually manifests itself in the form of an obscure movie reference.
