Netflix, We Are So Over!
I have been a Netflix user for about a year and a half and never had any problems until recently. It started a few months ago with a rented movie that skipped in the middle. Fortunately we were able to skip over the ruined part and still watch the ending.
Two movies later we weren't so lucky. About 25 minutes into The Darjeeling Limited the movie broke and we were left hanging. Okay, so we chalked it up to a bad sting of videos, plus, our DVD player was a little old so we opted to purchase a brand new one.
So new DVD player in tow we started watching Juno - two days after it's release and once again it didn't work. Now we were more then annoyed! I called and did manage to speak with someone who gave me a credit and promised a new copy in the mail. However, the new copy arrived and once again the movie broke! I managed to see more of the movie with the new copy, but then had to skip over two scenes near the end to finish the film -- so basically I have had it with Netflix!
We asked friends and family who have given us mixed reviews on Netflix - some not having any issues at all and some so annoyed they switched to Blockbuster's mail-in version.
What are your thoughts on this service? I mean, great they were nice on the phone and I did get a credit for the missed month of video watching -but what is that worth if every time we start a movie it breaks?
