Readers Blog: Malibu To Milwaukee

From Vegas To Brew Town!

You know that show "My Strange Obsession?" Well my "strange obsession" became the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a kid I was always fascinated w/ the city for some odd reason and after decades of dreaming about moving here w/ all my finances in order and my bags packed I left the bright lights of Vegas behind and headed out to the Mid-West paradise of Milwaukee. I have been here for about a year and a half now. I really like the city a lot. I think that the region has so much to offer and is a much nicer place than people give it credit for. Yes, it's cold here and it gets hot and humid but if you can deal w/ all of that Milwaukee is indeed the perfect balance between big and small urban and suburban.

I think I will stay in Milwaukee for a while. I mean my "Stress Level" is much lower here than it was when I was in Las Vegas. I think I just find life just more enjoyable nowadays. I just feel like I can actually breathe now. I'm not sure I'll I want to here when I'm 65 yrs old but for now I'm happy living in Milwaukee.  I just like it here!!!
