Ageless Chili Peppers still simmer on Summerfest's soaked opener
Original founders Anthony Kiedis and Flea, buffeted by longtime drummer and Will Ferrell doppelgänger Chad Smith, plus former touring guitarist Josh Kinghoffer, looked like the crazy, ripped, tattooed, formerly drunk uncles you always wish you had (or at least I wish I had). Larry's Benefit Ride, Saturday, June 10 at 11 a.m., takes place at the Okauchee American Legion Post, N50W34750 Wisconsin Ave. It will help raise money for local radio veteran Larry Hansen to buy a prosthetic leg after he was hit by a driver while working on his car.
