The Milwaukee Torrent Community Foundation announced Friday that it will donate $18,750 in scholarship money to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee for 75 students to attend the professional Torrent's soccer camp, July 11-15.

The Milwaukee Public Schools Class of 2016 has earned a record-breaking $47.8 million in scholarships, the district announced Wednesday, shattering the $39.3 million record set by the Class of 2015. The total will continue to grow as more scholarships are awarded.

AIR MKE, the restaurant/classroom of the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Wisconsin located in the P.H. Greg Jennings has a saying - "Be Great." To encourage that, he and Milwaukee-based Omanhene Cocoa Bean Company have teamed up with the Lake Valley Camp and AFS-USA to form a scholarship that will send Milwaukee students abroad to study.
