I was a bit taken Aback when I stopped at Goody Gourmets in Shorewood yesterday, and saw it closed. No need to worry, though, the space is just getting a facelift and ripping out some old carpet. The popcorn, in all of its amazingness, will remain the same.

Last week, we gave you a first look at The Ruckus, the new fast casual restaurant serving up burgers and ice cream in Shorewood. Originally, the restaurant announced it would be open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. However, it appears the restaurant is making some changes to its hours.

The Ruckus, a new fast casual restaurant from the owners of Colectivo, launched today at 4144 N. Oakland Ave. And if the line of onlookers present when the restaurant opened at 10:30 a.m. was any indication, Shorewood is in for something special.

The Ghost Train, a new public art project - or, to use the creator's language, an "artistic sensory experience" - made its debut last night at the Oak Leaf Trail Bridge and Capitol Drive in the Village of Shorewood.
