Record-setting QB Alex Hornibrook was nearly perfect in Badgers' rout of BYU

Alex Hornibrook, maligned after a mediocre passing performance last week, gave playing quarterback another shot Saturday against BYU. And Wisconsin is glad he did, as Hornibrook threw for 256 yards and four touchdowns and set the program's all-time completion record in the Badgers' 40-6 win.

Badgers begin season ranked as consensus top-10 team

The Badgers were ranked No. 9 when the first Associated Press Top 25 college football poll of the 2017 season was released on Monday. It was Wisconsin's second early top-10 ranking, after it opened at No. 10 in the preseason Amway Coaches poll earlier this month.
