The Brewers Community Foundation today announced that it raised more than $3.7 million in 2017 through numerous events and fundraising initiatives. The charitable arm of the Brewers has generated more than $27 million in eight years since its founding.

The Bucks and Wisconsin-based Cousins Subs are teaming up for the third consecutive year to `Block Out Hunger' statewide. Cousins will donate $50 in honor of the Bucks 50th anniversary to Hunger Task Force for every blocked shot the Bucks have throughout the 2017-18 season.

Last Sunday, in the immediate, catastrophic wake of Hurricane Harvey, Texans star and Wisconsinite J.J. Watt started a Houston Flood Relief Fund, with the initial goal of raising $200,000. Through his foundation, Watt has already raised $27 million. And you can still donate.

Time is running out to register for the Brewers Mini-Marathon. The sixth annual event gives runners the option of conquering a half marathon, 10K or 5K. Each course leads participants through Miller Park along the field warning track before finishing outside the ballpark.
