After brewing through the Barley to Barrel program, the New Barons Brewing Cooperative is ready to share its creations with the masses on Friday, Dec. 16 at the Riverwest Public House, 815 E. Locust St. The event is free and runs from 6:30 p.m. to midnight.

People's Books Cooperative started moving today from its East Side location to Riverwest today and will open in July. The independent bookstore cooperative is leaving its current location, 2122 E. Locust St., and moving to 804 E. Center St. in the former Tool Shed space.

People's Books Cooperative, 2122 E. Locust St., has been selling books for a long time. It became a community-owned cooperative in 2007, but previous owner Chris Chiu opened the progressive bookseller on Farwell Avenue in 1974.
