I was a bit taken Aback when I stopped at Goody Gourmets in Shorewood yesterday, and saw it closed. No need to worry, though, the space is just getting a facelift and ripping out some old carpet. The popcorn, in all of its amazingness, will remain the same.

There are a lot of rich, decadent foods at the fest, but certainly there are plenty of healthy edibles, too.

Kris Stuckert represents the fourth generation to work in his family's business, Holler House, which is a tavern and the oldest certified bowling alley in the United States. We recently stopped in on a Tuesday night to chat with Stuckert about cribbage, family, why there are so many bras hanging from the ceiling and, of course, bowling.
