For years, many of us were conflicted when it came to the Renaissance Bookstore at 834 N. Plankinton Ave., Downtown. It was a place that was packed with books. Great! But it was also clearly too packed with books. Last week, we went inside to take a look.

The Shops of Grand Avenue is welcoming three new local businesses to the western half of the mall just in time for the fast approaching holiday season. One is the ever-popular Jake's Deli.

Iâ€™ve had more guests than normal lately and it reminds me that although Milwaukee has its talking points (MAM, etc.), Brew City is big enough and has enough on offer that any tourist itinerary can really be focused on the guestâ€™s interests.
