At the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Saturday night, Zac Brown and his mesmerizingly talented seven-person band played a lot more than their country-station staples, like "Chicken Fried" and "Toes" - which they dutifully performed. And the Summerfest crowd loved it, mostly.

Summerfest has always been a great place to fill up on cold beer and fried foods. But, it's traditionally been a virtual wasteland for wine lovers. All that has changed this year, thanks to the inaugural run of the Corkscrew, a wine bar located just outside the American Family Insurance Amphitheater.

Today, Summerfest announced a familiar face would be taking the Marcus Amphitheater stage for this summer's Big Gig 50: Zac Brown Band, who will headline the festival on Saturday, July 1.

The Zac Brown Band may be the closest to a true definition of a current day Summerfest mainstay as you can get. Their cross genre approach has wide appeal and while firmly anchored in their traditions and heritage the band is constantly evolving, taking risks and adding sounds, personality and styles.
