I’ve called it the best single-day event in Milwaukee.

And I’m proud that OnMilwaukee has been a NEWaukee Night Market partner since day one, more than five years ago.

Sure, the Night Market has grown and changed  even moved around a bit  but no other event activates, connects, invigorates and inspires Downtown like it does.

And last night – wow. The lines, the people, the weather. It was truly amazing.

We got this email from Angela Damiani at NEWaukee this morning:

Good morning:
The whole NEWaukee team is a-buzz with the success of last night's night market. Whatever we did to please the weather gods, clearly worked. Those were the largest crowds we have ever seen at the event. It was so beautiful to witness.
Thank you so, so, so much for everything you did to make last night possible. You are the best!

Indeed, it was "beautiful to witness." And it again proved that Milwaukee is the heart of our fine state. If you missed the NEWaukee Night Market, I found eight great tweets that captured it.

Whether you were there last night or not, the next one is July 11. See you then!
