According to Milwaukee restauranteur Scott Johnson, the Rockerbox Moto Fest and Street Party will move to Road America at Elkhart Lake this summer.

"While we have loved hosting the festival at Fuel Café in Riverwest, the event has outgrown and overflowed the confines of the Center Street location," Johnson said in an email.

He also said that Rockerbox will become a multi-day event, "something that simply could not be achieved at the Fuel Café location."

With the move to Road America, Rockerbox will team up with the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association to create a vintage motorcycle weekend.

The size of the facility at Elkhart Lake will allow space for a larger swap area, camping and racing.

"We are eternally grateful for all those who have supported its growth and success over the years through attending, vending, volunteering and sponsoring," Johnson added.

"We hope that everyone will support Rockerbox as it takes on a new form at Road America. We would also like to thank RA for their very generous donations to The Steel Shoe Fund and The BUILD Mentorship program."

"We’d really love to thank everyone who helped build Rockerbox over the years from The Shop and Steel Shoe who created this incredible event to all the sponsors, vendors and people who attended each year to the Riverwest Community who welcomed us into the neighborhood."
