Take your shot at singing the national anthem for an upcoming Bucks game
Even if your talents more hitting sweet notes in the right key than hitting sweet jumpers from the top of the key, you could still find yourself on the court for a Milwaukee Bucks game during the team's final season at the BMO Harris Bradley Center – singing the national anthem, we mean, not bringing the ball up the court.
Indeed, the Bucks sent out an official call today, inviting all singers and musicians to audition for the chance to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" at a regular season home game this season. Auditions will take place Wednesday, Sept. 20 during three different time sessions: 7-9 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5-8 p.m, with participants asked to arrive through the Potawatomi entrance (East Atrium) of the Bradley Center, located near the intersection of 4th Street and Highland Avenue.
Both individuals or groups are invited to audition, though performers under the age of 18 need to be accompanied to the audition by a legal guardian. Singers and musicians are encouraged to bring a performance resume if they have one – oh, and they must be able to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" in its entirety. Obviously.
