Cradled in the heart of a 1,000-acre arboretum, the Boerner Botanical Gardens boasts a trove of gardens, paths and fountains decked out to impress. Especially lovely is the WPA-built, multi-level water garden.

Admission is charged from April 24 to Oct. 4.

Classes held in the Boerner Botanical Gardens main building, 9400 Boerner Drive, Hales Corners, WI 53130. You must be 21 years old to participate. $15 per person, $10 for FBBG members. Annual Valentine's Hop at the Gardens: 1960s 2nd Chance Prom

On Saturday, February 11th 2017, the Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens (FBBG) will re-create a 1960s high school prom for their 3rd annual Valentine's dance at the Gardens. Featuring live music of the era, dancing, activities and a whole lot of fun! • Live music of the ’50s-’70s with bands British Invasion ’64 & Close Enuf • Celebrity guest emcee--radio personality Gene Mueller • Dancing, raffles, games, & more • Candy, roses & British Invasion memorabilia for sale • Cash bar & appetizers available • Photo booth to commemorate the evening • 1960s attire encouraged; prizes for Prom King & Queen • Proceeds from this event benefit FBBG’s children’s education programming. $25/person, $40/couple; event runs from 7-11pm.
