In its second year, Art@Anodyne  kicks off a weekend-long celebration in Bay View, called KK Holiday. Art@Anodyne takes place on Friday, Nov. 30 from 4 to 9 p.m. at  Anodyne Cafe in Bay View.

Numerous local artists will sell their handmade items, providing the opportunity for customers to drink coffee, snack and peruse unique holiday gifts. Participating artists include Michelle Andre, Linda Beckstrom, Theresa Dart, Beth Eaton, Lori Erickson, Melissa Janda, Lisa Nedset, Anita Reed, Shelly Rosenquist and Marie Scott.

“Last year's show was a huge success, despite an early-season snowstorm,” says Erickson, who organized the event. “We were all concerned that we’d be hanging out and drinking coffee by ourselves, but we had such an amazing turnout. The place was packed with people, many of them our Bay View neighbors who trudged through the snow to shop and support the event. Anodyne was dishing up chili and making sandwiches until closing time.”
