A couple breweries have anniversary events on the horizon, one arriving much sooner than the other.

This Saturday, Component Brewing, in the Lincoln Warehouse at 2018 S. 1st St., in Bay View, celebrates its sixth anniversary with a party and some special releases, beginning at noon.

There will be live music with Rich Travis & Dusty Pockets with special guest Torslan Hopkins from 2 to 4 p.m. and as Oak from 5 to 7; plus food from K&L's BBQ – including smoked brisket burgers, pork ribs, crispy skin pork belly, Polish sausage, smoked turkey breast, pulled pork, elote and brisket baked beans – from 2 until 7 or until they sell out.

Rachal Duggan, of RAD Illustrates, will set up outside and do butt portraits (you heard that right) from 3 until 6. A mere $20 per toosh. Also, Nectar Confections will be on hand from 2 until 5 with Delta-9 THC gummies in a variety of flavors and dosages.

And, of course, there will be beer, including three special “high-octane” releases, including "Extreme Haze The Lord!" Triple Hazy IPA, 10 percent ABV; Barrel-Aged Sixth Anniversary Swirled Stout, 13 percent ABV; and Barrel-Aged Peanut Butter Cup Swirled Stout, 13 percent ABV.

Then, on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, Sahale Ale Works celebrates five years at its Grafton taproom, 1505 Wisconsin Ave., from 2 to 9 Saturday and noon-7 Sunday.

“It is amazing to see how far we’ve come and the impact we’ve had over these five years, “says Hofmann. “We set out to set a high standard for not just breweries, but small businesses as well to be active and supportive of causes in their community.

"I think we have done a great job so far and look forward to building on that as we go forward.”

In addition to Frida's Cocina MKE, Greek Street Eats and Rose Mob Grill food trucks; live music by Wonderful Bluffer, Tangled Lines, Brewtown Brewgrass, and Luke and JB and a raffle; Sahale will also have a quintet of special collabs available – one for each year and each with a brewery partner that has played a significant role in Hofmann’s brewing journey.

There’s a dry-hopped Czech lager with Lakefront Brewery, where Matt began his professional brewing career; a saison brewed with pear juice made with 3 Sheeps, where Hofmann first held the position of Head Brewer; a rebrewing of Oatally Awesome Oat IPA with Working Draft, the first brewery to collaborate with Sahale; a cranberry/grapefruit radler with Pabst Brewing Co., which makes Matt’s favorite beer; and a Rhubarb Honey Wheat Ale with all six breweries in Ozaukee County.

Also on hand will be the latest edition of Sahale’s anniversary beer series, which are variations of an Imperial Fruited Wild Ale, each with three different fruits in the color of the anniversary year. This year is pink and includes dragon fruit, prickly pear cactus and pink guava. This 13.9 percent ABV beer is very limited.

On Sunday, there will be a raffle from noon until 4 p.m. and attendees can earn raffle tickets for prizes including beer for a year and a year-long membership in Sahale’s Social Club. You must be present to win. Wear your Sahale gear and you’ll get a raffle ticket for each beer purchased. Swag-wearers will pay $5 per beer (except for the anniversary beer).
