What are we diggin' this week? Classic summer treats, delicious burgers, a handy resource for baseball fans and yet another accessory for your iPad.

Fla-Vor-Ice -- If you're going to be entertaining kids this summer, it's a good idea to stock up on this time-honored treat. Crack open that cellophane tube and have one yourself, too. It will take you back to the happy days of childhood. Just don't look for them in the freezer section. They're not there. You have to take them home and freeze them yourself, which is why it's smart to stock up. -- Drew Olson

Cot's Baseball Contracts -- How much is that $@%&*# pitcher making this year? What's his contract status? You can find all kinds of information at this site and be a backseat general manager. The database is named for Cotton Tierney, who was the fifth-leading hitter in the National League in 1922 and played for $5,000 the following year. Go to the team section on the left side of the homepage and check out how much your favorite player is -- or isn't -- earning this year. -- Drew Olson

La Merenda's veal osso buco and Argentinian style beef -- Why don't I eat at La Merenda more often?  I ask myself that after nearly every visit.  Have you had their veal osso buco?  Wow.  It truly melts in your mouth and the risotto underneath is equally amazing.  How about the Argentinian style beef?  It's high quality tenderloin marinated in chimichurri sauce, served over mashed sweet plantains.  Again, it's just so very good.  Needless to say, if you have been to La Merenda in a while, go! -- Jeff Sherman

The SKrAPr and SKrAPr Junior -- These handy tools fit comfortably in the palm of your hand giving you the leverage you need to scrape nearly anything off nearly any surface. I tried it first on the top of an electric range top and it worked like a charm. The charred food came right off and the resin from which it is made won't scratch sensitive surfaces like those stove tops. It also works great on the grill stuff that the wire brush wont remove. It's good for getting bird poop off your windshield, paint off floors, gunked-on food in glass pans and more. I'm not sure I'd use the same one for all those uses, of course, but since you get a regular-sized one and a junior in a single pack, you can dedicate one to kitchen uses and the other to non-kitchen jobs. The two-packs run roughly $15. Money well spent.  --Bobby Tanzilo

Eco-Vue iPad case -- Every now and then, manufacturers send us demo items without us even asking.  In this instance, I'm really glad Marware delivered their Eco-Vue iPad folio case, because it's pretty close to perfect.  A little less stylish than the sleeve model I'd been using, the Eco-Vue is significantly more functional. It opens like a "Moleskine" book, and the cover can be flipped around to be used as a stand. Interestingly, it also features a hand strap so you can hold the iPad in one hand and easily type with the other. Apparently, this black leather case is tanned with fewer toxins than usual, and has less of an environmental impact than your typical case. Odd, though, that when I opened the box, it had a very strong chemical smell that took a few days to wear off. At $45 on marware.com, I'm a big fan of my new iPad case -- and believe me, if you just dropped $500 on Apple's new tablet, you're going to need a case.  This is very functional folio that looks good, too. -- Andy Tarnoff

The Molly Cool Burger at Molly Cool's Seafood Tavern -- I'd held off on eating at this Old World 3rd Street restaurant because, aside from a Friday fish fry, I'm not much of a seafood guy. But at a recent meeting, I was poring over the menu and found this delectable treat. If you're from Minnesota or spent significant time in the Twin Cities, you've certainly heard of the "Jucy Lucy;" a burger that features two thin patties, packed around cheddar cheese and grilled. The Molly Cool Burger ($9.95) isn't quite like grabbing a bite at Matt's in Minneapolis, but it's pretty darn close. -- Andrew Wagner

Cage the Elephant -- Credit Brewers' outfielder Corey Hart with an assist on this one. Hart -- who, like the band, hails from Bowling Green, Ky. -- recently changed his walk-up music to "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked," off the band's self-titled debut album. Cage is a solid group of rockers, but with just enough funkiness in their sound to make them unique. -- Andrew Wagner
