Twenty-three seconds into the third quarter Tuesday night, play was stopped at the Bradley Center. The crowd erupted as the announcement was made: Bucks forward Glenn Robinson had just scored the 10,000th point of his seven-year NBA career.

"It's a great accomplishment," Robinson said, after Milwaukee's 107-104 loss to Philadelphia. "There's some great players who did it that are ahead of me."

A former number one draft pick out of Purdue, Robinson is the first member of his draft class (1994) -- or his preceding drafting class -- to top the ten thousand point barrier. Other players closing in on the mark include Vin Baker (class of 1993), Chris Webber ('93), Grant Hill ('94), Allan Houston ('93), Isaiah Rider ('93) and Juwan Howard ('94).

"It's kind of ironic," Glenn reflected. "Nationally, a lot of people don't even know what type of scorer Glenn Robinson is."

Big Dog became the fifth player in franchise history to score more than 10,000 career points, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (14,211), Sidney Moncrief (11,594), Bob Dandridge (11,478) and Marques Johnson (10,980).

"I just want to be one of the best players to play the game of basketball," Glenn noted. "A lot of people say, 'He can't do anything but score.' Well, a lot of people can't score like that. It's a God-gifted talent and everybody who plays the game of basketball would like to do it. Unfortunately, everybody can't do it."

To commemorate his milestone, Robinson was asked to recall the five most memorable games of his career:

April 23, 1995 -- Bucks 104, Chicago 100; Bradley Center
"On the last day of my rookie season, I matched up in my first duel with Michael Jordan. I had 36 points and he had 33 points and the media and fans talked about the game for the whole summer."

December 7, 1996 -- Bucks 128, Washington 118; USAir Arena
"Someone had stolen my number 13 jersey from the visitors' locker room, so I had to go out in another number -- I think it was number 43. Our trainer, Mark Pfeil, said I had to go out and score the same amount of points as the number on my jersey. I went out and scored a career-high 44 points."

December 18, 1996 -- Lakers 111, Bucks 109; Bradley Center
"I had 42 points and I think Shaw had 41. The thing I remember most was that Eddie Jones took off from the free throw line and dunked, something I had never seen before."

February 3, 2000 -- Bucks 102, Utah 99; Delta Center
"It's so hard to even stay close against those guys, let alone beat them. Adam Keefe had stopped me four times straight going into that last shot. Next thing you know I had the ball in my hands and I made a quick move to get the shot up, and luckily it went in."

February 12, 2000 -- West 137, East 126; The Arena at Oakland
"By far my best memory since I joined the NBA was my first All-Star Game last season. I had always watched the All-Star Game on television as a kid and dreamed of being there in person, and I finally was there."
