{image1}According to an e-mail sent out Tuesday by club management, The Rock Shop, 1900 S. 60th St. in West Allis, is again seeking a new location. The current location opened in May after the previous space, on Greenfield Avenue, was destroyed by fire in January.

In the e-mail, co-owner Brian Emmett pointed to a number of concerns at the current location, including a building capacity that limits the club's possibilities and disputes with the building's owner.

The final gig at the current location will take place on Saturday, Jan. 1 and will feature, among others, 13 Pills, New Society of Anarchists, State of Emergency, Way To Fall and Spud-Monkey.

Emmett says that while he searches for a new location, he will be involved with a large club in Newville, owned by his Rock Shop partner Ian Pesch.

"The good news for me, is I will have the chance to do some bigger and better shows in 2005 while we search and decide on a new Rock Shop location."
