America has a plethora of big box stores, including Target and Wal-Mart, and most people have a preference. Both stores, particularly Wal-Mart, get a fair share of flack, but in general, these chain stores are usually bustling with shoppers.

What about you? Are you more of a Target person, a Wal-Mart shopper or neither? Sound-off, readers.

Wal-Mart. You cannot beat the prices at Wal-Mart. I am able to afford so much more than I would anywhere else. Although there are aspects about Wal-Mart I don’t care for, the reality is that it’s cheap and convenient. People get way too fired up about Wal-Mart, and the business is really not that bad.

Target. You cannot compare Wal-Mart and Target when it comes to style. Target items are much better looking and higher quality. The prices might be a tad higher at Target, but it’s worth it. Wal-Mart’s disregard for communities and its employees makes me boycott the place whenever I can.
