Singles, do yourself a favor and delete Hinge, Tinder and any other dating apps you have installed on your phone: It’s time to ditch online dating and return to in-person dating.

To help, Glassnote Candle Bar and Vendetta Coffee Bar have teamed up to offer their very first-speed dating event from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

“Glassnote Candle Bar and Vendetta Coffee Bar share the same building," said Glassnote Candle Bar manager and chief mixologist Ronnie Jean. "Vendetta is located on the first floor and Glassnote is located on the second. We have always felt that we were a perfect match. We have been wanting to collaborate for a while, but we were waiting for the right event.”

Each date will last five minutes and everyone participating will have thought-provoking Hygge Game cards at their table with questions to help break the ice or dive into burning questions. Each person will also have a dating card where they will mark the matches they liked during the event.

Attendees will also recieve a complimentary drink – either Vendetta's signature Aperol spritz or a limoncello spritz.

“Speed dating is the perfect match because bringing people together is what we are both all about,” Jean said. “Vendetta’s barista/chef Steve will be our MC of the night, intermissions will include tours of Glassnote, and our Hygge Game can be played while their candles are cooling.”

To start your love connection, Glassnote and Vendetta require you to fill out a speed dating application (found right here) to make sure you enjoy the full experience and find what you’re looking for. Every attendee who submits their application will be vetted by both Glassnote Candle Bar and Vendetta Coffee Bar. Approved applicants will then receive an email with more event details about where to park, how to pay for the ticket, what to expect and more. Act quick, though: You only have until Sunday, Oct. 22 to fill out your application.

After the event, attendees will receive an email the next day with all of their matches and their information so they can set up the first date. And we know just the spot for that first date.

“Dates that match and make a reservation at Glassnote Candle Bar will get two glasses of champagne, two cocktails and a framed Polaroid picture in front of our fragrance wall,” Jean explained.

And while The Supremes said you can't hurry love, you should hurry to save your spot because there’s limited seating and you don’t want to miss this event to meet The One, fill out your application at this link.
