After nearly 12 months of on-and-off closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Caravan Hospitality Group announced SportClub sports bar, 750 N. Jefferson St., is once again open every day. The news comes just in time for college basketball tournaments, March Madness and baseball season.

SportClub will re-open Friday, March 5 at 4 p.m. for a “Welcome Back Happy Hour” with 50 percent off appetizers and select beverages, raffle prizes and giveaways.   The party will go through the entire weekend. The bar is also accepting reservations for enclosed “Social Bubble” areas that accommodate groups of up to 30 people for all games.

SportClub follows the State of Wisconsin Mask Mandate as well as its Milwaukee Health Dept. approved  COVID-19 safety plan with distancing, capacity restrictions, and sanitation practices.

“It’s been a rough year to say the least,” said Mike Eitel, owner.  “The Downtown area has been an absolute ghost town since the lockdown last March, but appears to be slowly coming back. We are hoping to be a part of an historic comeback downtown this spring.”
