There are lots of reasons why Summerfest ranks as one of the best music festivals in the world: the number of performers, the variety of music, the people watching. But one of the best parts of the Big Gig has to be the price.

For the quality and quantity of shows available, a Summerfest ticket is an absolute steal – especially when stacked against the absurd prices for similar summer music festivals (say, ones that rhyme with "Gollafasnooza"). And that's before the Big Gig adds on its bonus discount deals for essentially every day of the festival.

And now the Big Gig has found yet another way to sneak some savings into Summerfest, today announcing a special All-In discount ticket deal.

Starting today at 10 a.m., a limited number of tickets for select American Family Insurance Amphitheater headliner shows will be marked down to just $20 and made available online only at Summerfest.com and Ticketmaster.com. The discounted concerts include:

  • James Taylor & Bonnie Raitt on June 28
  • Halsey & Logic with special guest NF on June 29
  • Florida Georgia Line with special guest Bebe Rexha on June 30
  • J. Cole on July 3
  • Journey & Def Leppard on July 4
  • Shawn Mendes with special guest Charli XCX on July 5
  • Blake Shelton with special guest Luke Combs on July 6
  • The Weeknd on July 7
  • Arcade Fire with special guest Manchester Orchestra on July 8

The savings don't stop at Summerfest, however, as the All-In $20 ticket deal also includes some of the bonus summer shows hosted down at Henry Maier Festival Park. The discounted concerts include:

  • the final Vans Warped Tour stop on July 23
  • Cake & Ben Folds at the BMO Harris Pavilion on Aug. 23
  • Lady Antebellum with special guest Darius Rucker on Sept. 1
  • Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band at the BMO Harris Pavilion on Sept. 8

The All-In ticket discount technically goes until Monday, May 7 at 10 p.m., but there's a limited number of $20 tickets, and the deal will go only until supplies last. So act quickly – and stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more Summerfest announcements and summer festival updates as they arrive.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
