"Bar Month" at OnMilwaukee.com – brought to you by Absolut, Avion, Fireball, Pama, Red Stag and 2 Gingers – is back for another round! The whole month of February, we're serving up intoxicatingly fun articles on bars and clubs – including guides, the latest trends, bar reviews, the results of our Best of Bars poll and more. Grab a designated driver and dive in!

As we’ve unveiled the winners of the 2014 OnMilwaukee.com Best of Bars reader poll throughout the month, there have been a few surprises along the way – but there have also been a few dynasties that have continued to claim the top spot in their respective category. This one is no different.

In Milwaukee, people like what they like but they also can respect an establishment’s commitment and execution of a look and feel. To wit: For the sixth straight year, you have acknowledged the coded and hidden entries lead you into not only a spy’s paradise, but the best theme bar in the city at the Safe House, located at 779 N. Front St.

The Safe House continues to be a hit with tourists and Milwaukeeans who enjoy having some fun right when you walk in the door – especially if you have friends who don’t know the password to get in – and then being immersed in a world full of spy-themed surprises, from hidden walls, narrow staircases and décor that always has you finding something new, no matter how many times you’ve looked at it.

Camp Bar was the runner-up and gained ground on your five-time defending champion, and the editor’s at OnMilwaukee.com felt the warm Polynesian vibe at Lucky Joe’s Tiki Room is the best around.
