In a recent Facebook post from Camp Bar owner Paul Hackbarth, he noted his recent plans for acquisition of the building adjacent to Camp Bar at 66th and North Ave.  He also asked local residents what they'd like to see in the space.

"We are acquiring the building literally attached to Camp Bar Tosa!" he wrote. "We are looking at options for the space. It is as big as Camp and is the ultimate location literally attached to Camp Tosa! If you or anyone you know may have any interest in the space, please let us know. We are accepting applications and working to find the best fit. Also, any ideas for those that live in the area please let us know that as well!"

The building currently houses "The Natural Health Center," which offers chiropractic care, nutritional counseling. It's also home of the Healthways Health Food Store.

If the recent development in the East Wauwatosa corridor is any indication, the space is as likely to become a new restaurant as much as anything. So, we'll be keeping up with plans for the space and sharing news as soon as it's available.

What type of eatery would you like to see in the space?
