The Scout Lake pop-up beer garden is set to open on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Scout Lake Pavilion, 5902 W. Loomis Rd. in Greendale.

This temporary beer garden will be open noon to 10 p.m. through June 21, with last call at 9 p.m. each day.

The concept, a collaboration between Hans Weissgerber III and Milwaukee County Parks, will feature a variety of beers from the Hofbrau Munich Brewery, including Hofbrau Sommerbier, the official beer garden beer of Munich.  The selection will be exclusively offered at Scout Lake until June 20, and subsequently at the Estabrook Beer Garden and Old German Beer Hall.

All beer is served in liter and half-liter glass mugs, which are available for purchase. Patrons can also bring their own mugs for use at the garden. Food items will include Usinger's sausages and Miller Bakery pretzels.  All purchases are cash only.

The beer garden will also feature live acoustic music each evening.
