Opened in March 2009, AJ Bombers takes over the space previously occupied by The Corner and Water's End. The menu offers two specialty burgers, plenty of veggie options and a list of deep fried appetizers. Peanuts on the ground are a trademark of this hip Water Street bar.

In 2010, AJ Bombers defeated Sobelman's in the Travel Channel's "Food Wars" competition. While the battle still rages, the only way to be sure which burger is truly superior is to try them both yourself.
