WISN-TV (Channel 12) News Anchor Demarco Morgan has been named "One of America's Young Leaders of the Future" by Ebony Magazine. The February edition of the national publication recognizes 30 African Americans across several career fields for "knowing the importance of giving back to their communities" and for reflecting "the burgeoning leader within."
Morgan joined WISN-TV in 2004 and currently co-anchors the weekend morning news with Portia Young. He attended New York's Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and received a master's of science and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Jackson State University in Mississippi. He is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
