The Pfister, 424 E. Wisconsin Ave., is getting several upgrades including a new spa and restaurant called The Mason Street Grill.
The Mason Street Grill, being teased with new signage on the corner of Mason and Jefferson Streets, will be a new concept for the hotel, which recently closed its Celia restaurant.
To promote the spa, the hotel has placed four mannequins clad in "spa gear" along its Jefferson Street side, just north of the Café. The mannequins are peering into the future spa.
According to the hotel's Web site "When complete, the Spa will feature over 10,000 square feet of exquisite space. We will feature Spa Suites, Full Service Salon, and Fitness Studio with Personal training. The Spa will be a main attraction for both hotel guests and the local community, and embrace the legendary hospitality of the Pfister Hotel."
A representative of the hotel also says it will be an "all private suite spa." Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee.com for more details.
