Welcome to the OnMilwaukee.com Sunday Sound-off, featuring a question, two different perspectives -- then opening up the topic to our readers' responses. Please use the Talkback feature below to contribute your thoughts on the issue.
Most of us already grumble about additional charges tacked onto ticket prices, and now, Bradley Center events will include one more fee.
On Friday, Bradley Center officials announced that $1 would be added to the price of sports tickets. A similar $2 fee was already added to entertainment tickets. In both cases, the additional cost will cover Bradley Center building expenses and amenities.
What do you think about this additional charge? Good, bad or indifferent, we want to hear your thoughts, so sound off, Milwaukee!
I'm not bothered by this additional fee. With ticket prices what they are, a dollar or two isn't going to matter. Plus, it's a way to keep the Bradley Center in great shape, which is important for Milwaukee's image, the comfort of fans and to continue to attract large-name acts.
The Bradley Center is 20 years old and millions of dollars in debt, so if Milwaukeeans care about keeping the Bradley Center and its tenants like the Bucks, we need to pitch in.
The new fee is bogus. Fans should not be responsible for the cost of maintaining the Bradley Center. Ticket prices are already exorbitant, and an another fee seems really unfair. If prices continue to spike, fewer and fewer Milwaukeeans will be able to afford tickets.

You have got to be kidding... Any additional fee is a joke! ... They are aleready charging you for getting in... They should have such costs already built into the cost of the ticket or through the costs they charge to the event promoters... This is just a scam to get more money out of us while trying to make it look fair... I am not buying it!!!!!

Build a new one now! The Packers and Brewers got state money, let's do the same for the Bucks!

I couldn't agree more with the previous poster. The Bradley Center was a gift to the city so its not like there is debt to pay off building the place. If the Bradley Center can't pay their bills, thats their problem.

Improper management of facilities should not be the responsibility of the consumer. I disagree with additional fees.
