Asian Fusion, an Asian restaurant specializing in authentic Chinese food, hopes to open later this fall at 1660 E. North Ave. in the former home of Classic Slice.

The restaurant, which will occupy the former home of Classic Slice, as well as the adjacent building, is currently under construction.

"We hope to bring a real Asian and Chinese cultural and food experience to Milwaukee," says Iris Huang, whose family also owns Chen’s Bistro in Kenosha.

She notes that her family has been serving Americanized Chinese food for years, and hopes to use the menu at Asian Fusion to introduce the East Side to more authentic fare.

Huang says the menu will include a variety of dishes, including ramen noodles, Asian rice dishes and bubble tea.
