On Friday, Nov. 20, The Beerline Café, 2076 N. Commerce, will celebrate its official grand opening with a celebration featuring food and beverage samples along with a variety of discounts on menu items.

The eco-friendly vegetarian cafe launched in a soft-opening phase in early September, focusing on primarily crepes and salads.

"The phase was essential for gauging what our customers wanted, what  they’re not really interested in, and also what the most cost effective hours of operation should be," notes owner Michael Allen.

The grand opening menu will offer new sweet and savory crepe offerings along with breakfast tacos, "Cromelettes" (very thin omelets cooked on the crepe maker), new fresh juices and smoothies.

At the grand opening, customers will get a peek at the brand new dining room, which was  designed with minimal environmental impact in mind, earning the café a three-star rating from the Green Restaurant Association. a main feature is a large living wall – situated above the kitchen and dining area, comprised of nearly 2,000 tropical plants.

Moving forward, hours for the Cafe will be Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
