Season's eatings! October may be over, but Dining Month on OnMilwaukee, presented by the restaurants of Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, is still cooking, dishing out your winning picks in this year's Best of Dining poll. Congratulations to all of the winners, and happy eating for all those who voted!

Company Brewing

It was a loaded slate of candidates for Milwaukee's best new restaurant of 2015, with several culinary newcomers scoring well with voters. However, only one was able to end up on top of the scrumptious scrum of restaurant rookies: Company Brewing, the new Riverwest brewpub that opened this past May in the former Stonefly space at 735 E. Center St.

Spearheaded by ex-Colectivo coffee buyer-turned-brewer George Bregar, the new restaurant won top marks from both readers and our OnMilwaukee foodie experts – whose top five picks almost lined up exactly, save for Rice N Roll winning over voters rather than Xankia. The new Riverwest hotspot has clearly brewed up success with its diverse menu of dressed-up bar eats – ranging from appetizers like fried pigs ear and crispy fries with truffle aioli and fried egg, to the Company burger served on an English muffin, to main courses of steak, sausage and salmon – and thirst-quenching list of tap brews and cocktails.
