It’s official, Drink Wisconsinbly will launch its bar and restaurant presence – likely later this month – in the former home of Blue Jacket, 135 E. National Ave. in Walker's Point.

The concept is powered by a partnership between Drink Wisconsinbly, Nebi Torbica (formerly of MOCT) and Laura van Heijningen (of Blue Jacket).

Drink Wisconsinbly plans to offer up simple delicious food paired with a healthy dose of Wisconsin idolatry, traditional libations (including Wisconsin old fashioneds) and "no beer from St. Louis."

The menu, created by Chef Kevin Sloan of The Pabst Theater Group and Chef David Sapp – formerly of MOVIDA – will include Wisconsin-inspired fare including an array of sausages, house-ground beef for burgers and paprikash chicken wings.

As Drink Wisconsinbly founder Richard Lorbach notes, "We’re aiming to have an experience somewhere between the County Stadium bleachers, your favorite northwoods supper club and your granddad’s corner tap. We’re excited to open our doors and show everybody what we’ve been working on the past several months."
