The ebb and flow of Milwaukee restaurants continues with the closing of Edwardo's Natural Pizza, 700 E. Kilbourn Ave.
A call to the restaurant this morning yielded a voice mail message thanking patrons for 20 years of dining and noting that the deep dish institution had "lost its lease." The message encourages diners to stop by the Wauwatosa Edwardo's at 10845 W.Bluemound Rd.

It has nothing to do with Edwardo's closing, almost every week onmilwaukee.com reports about a restaurant / bar closing in Milwaukee. My comment had to do with the closing of yet another restaurant in downtown Milwaukee / East side closing..

I think the Tosa location isn't far behind in it's lack of clean. And the service was just terrible. Perhaps Edwardo's has run it's course after 20 years.

I am so tired of new restaurants & bars with one word names opening and closing in Milwaukee .. *yawn* How about building something different.. like retail in downtown Milwaukee ! There's enough condos in downtown Milwaukee and the East Side to support it ..
