Salvatore's Pizza to become Falbo Bros.

Salvatore's Pizza, 2213 E. Capitol Dr., went out of business 16 months after opening, but a new pizzeria will open in the space in early October.

Brothers Ted and Sam Speerschneider, who are from Whitefish Bay, will open Falbo Bros., a Madison-based pizza chain. Ted also owns a franchise in Middleton.

Falbo Bros. will offer thin crust, deep dish and Chicago-style pizza along with a variety of pasta dishes. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, and have late-night hours until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Beer and wine will be available.
