In a message to Facebook fans on Saturday, Melthouse Bistro, the hand-crafted gourmet grilled cheese restaurant on Milwaukee's east side announced that its last day in business would be on July 12.

Fans of the restaurant, which opened in 2011 under the ownership of Susan and Troy Davis, lamented the loss of the restaurant on Reddit.
